Packing For The Big Day
Moving day can be a stressful time. There’s a lot of work to be done and it might seem like the list of things to do never ends. You may feel like you’re getting overwhelmed, but there are ways to make this process easier for you and your family.
Before you put anything into boxes, go through the house and take note of what needs to be cleaned. Make a cleaning checklist This will help cut down on the amount of effort and energy required on moving day and help avoid any frantic moments when it’s time to pack up your belongings.
Packing is additionally easier if you recognize which room everything belongs in at your new place. This way, you won’t have such a big amount of boxes floating around the house while you are attempting to place them away.
When packing clothes, it helps to take care not to overpack your suitcases or bags so they don’t become too heavy! Make sure that your clothes are folded neatly and packed efficiently so nothing gets wrinkled before it arrives at its destination.
A good tip is to pack all of your heavier items first because these are usually the last things you’ll move out of the old place.
Cleaning The New Place
After you carefully pack your things, you’ll need to make sure your new home is clean and ready for all of your stuff.
When you move out of an old place, it can feel like you’re throwing everything away. But don’t worry! There are many options available for cleaning that will help you leave the space without any trace of dirt or dust.

GETTING YOUR FORMER HOME READY FOR THE NEXT TENANT
When moving into a new home, one of the most common concerns is that your old, filthy home will be infested with bugs or wrecked by neglect. Take the time to prepare your old property for the next tenant to avoid this.
First, clean your house thoroughly. Make sure all surfaces are spotless and any area where insects like to congregate has been treated. Second, make sure all food in your fridge is properly stored and date-stamped (including leftovers). Third, make sure to strip beds and pack linens in garbage bags so they don’t get infested with bed bugs.
Fourth, vacuum up any loose debris on floors or elsewhere in the home. Fifth, ensure that windows are washed and screens are intact to keep out pests. And finally, if you’re leaving behind furniture or other belongings in your home when you move out, it’s important to take steps to protect them from damage before you leave! Make sure you clean the entire house.
