THE EASIEST WAY TO GET RID OF URINE STAINS AND SMELL!

The Best Way to Get Rid of Urine Stains and Smell!

If you have ever had to deal with urine stains and smell, you’ll know how difficult it is to get rid of the odor. It can seem like no matter what you do, the smelly urine keeps coming back. You may think it’s impossible to eliminate the stench… But thankfully there are some tricks that work for getting rid of urine stains and smell!

Some people use baby wipes or vinegar solutions to try to take care of the problem. These are both good ideas but they don’t always work. Baby wipes will only absorb so much, and white vinegar solutions won’t be able to touch the stain if it has already dried. And even if these things can get rid of the stain, they’re not going to help with the elimination of urine odor. So what can you do? Well, read on for tips on how to take care of your pesky stain and unpleasant odor!

How to Remove the Stain & the Smell

There are a few ways to get rid of that stubborn stain and that unbearable smell.

1) First, try spraying some enzymatic cleaners on the stain with a spray bottle. This will help to break down the urine and neutralize the smell of urine.

2) Next, use a mixture of dish soap and water to scrub off the stain. The soap will help to break up the uric acid crystals and remove them from the carpet.

3) Now use a towel or old rag to dry up any residue left behind by the vinegar and soap mixtures.

4) Finally, vacuum your carpet again with an attachment hose to ensure all traces of urine have been removed of the foul-smelling urine (we recommend a shop vac )

How to Eliminate the Smell

The first step in getting rid of the smell is to rinse the stain with cool water. Use a cloth towel or sponge to soak up as much moisture as possible. The best way is to either have a carpet cleaner or a machine to flood the area. After you’ve soaked up all the moisture you can, use a dry cloth towel or paper towel to blot away any remaining dampness. And speed dry with a fan.

You may also want to sprinkle baking soda over the area after you’ve rinsed away the moisture. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes before you vacuum it up, which should eliminate a bad smell. Cleaning products like vinegar and hydrogen peroxide are also effective in eliminating odors, but they must be sprayed directly onto the stained area. You need to flush the urine from the padding in the carpet, as the excess urine will just sit there, hence the reason we recommend enzyme-based stain remover. These break down the ammonia in the carpet fibers, and padding.

How to Prevent Urine Stains and Odors in Future

There are a couple of ways you can prevent urine stains and smells in the future. One way is by cleaning up any spills or accidents immediately. Make sure to clean up anything that your pet leaves behind, too.

Another helpful tip would be to keep your pet out of certain rooms. If they have their own room, use it! Or, you could put baby gates up in areas where there are rugs or carpets so pets don’t go there as often.

If you have pet pee stains on the carpet, you should wash it as thoroughly as possible with soap and water. This will take care of any accidents and also help to remove odors from the carpet for good! Pets tend to go back to areas that they have marked. And try and teach them with positive reinforcement to stay away from those areas. Try and tackle fresh urine stains as soon as you can, time is everything to help with odor removal and trying to prevent future accidents.

Urine stains and the accompanying odor can be a real problem for any animal owner. In order to remove the stain and eliminate the smell, it’s important to know what you’re up against. The two most important steps in removing a urine stain are to identify the type of surface you’re working with and to identify what is causing the odor. With a little know-how and a few simple household goods, you’ll be able to restore your floor or carpet and eliminate that stubborn urine smell in no time. Steam cleaners are what every carpet cleaner out there recommends. Flushing the entire area with plenty of water to flood out that ammonia smell.

No matter what you are trying to work on, ammonia in cat urine, dog, or even human urine. Your cleaning solution needs to flood the area with hot water to try and eliminate foul odor, and foul smell.
